Collaborative Action Coaching for Leaders: a way of enabling transfer and sustainability of learning for all external coaches?

The Collaborative Action Coaching for Leaders model (Cook, 2011) emerged from a longitudinal doctoral study researching coaching practice, and currently it is the only empirical model for external oneto- one stand alone coaching of leaders which enables transfer and sustainability of learning. But is the model transferable to other coaches? My post doctoral collaborative action research study indicates that this transferability is possible. A diverse range of coaches were able to apply the model whilst retaining their professional identity as a coach. The next step is to develop a set of competencies and create a collection of experiential case studies.
